Cloud & architecture
Runs in the cloud you already govern.
Snaptiq is built on Microsoft Azure, in commercial and government cloud. It deploys into an environment your security team already knows, which makes the review familiar rather than long.
Why it matters
Your cloud, your controls, your boundary.
A recognized government path
Snaptiq is being prepared to deploy into your own government cloud subscription, inside your authorization boundary; IL4 and IL5 deployments are in preparation and not yet available. The AI services it relies on are listed by Microsoft for FedRAMP High, DoD IL4 and IL5 (source).
The identity you already use
Sign in with Microsoft Entra ID or any OpenID Connect provider, or with a password and authenticator-app MFA, which an administrator can require for everyone. People sign in with their existing identity once their Snaptiq account is set up. CAC sign-in for government deployments is in development.
Data stays in your tenant
Source documents, media, drafts and the audit record live in your environment, in the US region you choose. Storage is private, media is served through short-lived signed links, and services reach each other with managed identities.
AI under your controls
Each AI capability is switched on separately, metered on every call, and held to the budgets you set. If a service is unavailable, the draft degrades and the work carries on.
One cloud to review
Your security team reviews Snaptiq with the tooling and policies it already uses, alongside Snaptiq’s architecture overview, software bill of materials and scan results.
Commercial and government, one platform
The same Snaptiq runs in commercial and government cloud. Moving between them is a change of cloud and region, not a different product.
Under the hood
The services behind each capability.
| Capability | Service |
|---|---|
| Hosting, database and storage | Azure container hosting, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Blob Storage |
| Drafting briefs, storyboards, narration and questions | Azure OpenAI |
| Narration | Azure AI Speech |
| Reading PDF and Word sources | Azure AI Document Intelligence |
| Analyzing uploaded footage | Azure AI Video Indexer |
| Monitoring and platform logs | Azure Monitor and Log Analytics |
| Sign-in | Microsoft Entra ID or any OpenID Connect provider, plus CAC |
Some capabilities differ at IL4 and IL5. See feature availability by environment.
Where Google fits
Specialist AI, opt-in and scoped.
For AI-generated video, Snaptiq can use Google’s Veo model on Vertex AI as an optional capability.
- Off unless your deployment turns it on
- Permitted project by project, with the permission recorded on the audit trail
- Only the scene’s video prompt is sent; nothing else from the project
- Generated clips are labeled as illustration on frame and never accepted as proof a step was demonstrated
- Available in commercial deployments; at IL4 it requires Google Assured Workloads; not available at IL5
